Adrienne, With the sale of mother’s house now completed, I write to thank you for your superb realtor work in facilitating the process. I need not list the many issues involved in the sale, since you and I are very aware of them. Suffice to say, this was a complex and difficult transaction involving a ninety-seven year old women who had to leave her home rather abruptly for health reasons and for whom I eventually acquired power-of-attorney. Together we arranged for furniture transfer, house cleaning, document searches, septic system and plot clarification and updating, and more.
Although you are, of course, reimbursed at closing for your work, you deserve special accolades of this transaction. You were of immense help to me. It may not be too much to say this sale would have “fallen apart” at several junctures without your steadying hand and willingness to do whatever was necessary to keep the process moving.
