Dear Adrienne and Peter:
Rick and I would just like to extend our thanks and gratitude for all the hard work the two of you put into finding a house for us.
As you know, we have been trying to buy a house for two years, but were unable to, mainly because of financing issues. When we contacted you late this spring, we were still struggling to find financing, but thought we'd give it one more try.
As it happened to us last year, we had trouble getting a mortgage; we just never seemed to contact the right mortgage company. At Adrienne's suggestion, we called Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and within two weeks had a commitment letter for a mortgage we could afford. At this point you had your work cut out for you.
You set up several showings for us, always finding houses that would suit our specific needs. The houses were always in our price range; we never looked at houses that were above our commitment amount. Going out to see these houses with Peter was a pleasure, a very personable experience. Adrienne was always available for us, calling us back in a very timely fashion if she was unable to take our calls immediately, and my calls were numerous. Once we found our house, all the details involved were handled smoothly and promptly and our closing was a breeze.
